Job Summary

Sieda Community Action is seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team in the Behavioral Health and Treatment Services Unit.

About the Role

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field.
  • CADC certification or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a counseling-related position preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
