First Resources Corp. of Ottumwa is growing and we are searching for dedicated and energetic Full-time Adult Day Hab Professional for our LINC program which provides activities and services on nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision and training of people with disabilities to develop, maintain and increase/maximize their personal capabilities; physical and emotional growth, communication, socialization, community integration, and basic educational experiences. Also responsible for engaging individuals in community-based activities and promoting community involvement

As an Adult Day Hab (ADH) Professional you will be there to provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like:

  • Community Awareness/Integration
  • Socialization
  • Cooking
  • Personal hygiene
  • Goal Setting and achieving
  • Communication and self-expression needs
  • Coping skills

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
  • Experience is preferred, but not required. We provide the training and tools that you need to be successful at First Resources Crop.
