Job Summary

EverStaff is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in the aerospace industry. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling nose and main landing gear components for the Boeing 777 program and various military programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble nose and main landing gear components according to detailed drawings and process plans.
  • Quality Control: Conduct acceptance test procedures (ATP) on hydraulic components, including shock struts and actuators.
  • Serialization: Apply rubber stamps (serialization) on parts as specified prior to final shipping.
  • Component Inspection: Identify proper and improper fits, alignments, and conditions of components during assembly.
  • Preparation: Seal bushings and apply paint sealant to all parts prior to honing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements; submit process change requests as necessary.
  • Lot Traceability: Maintain lot traceability throughout the assembly and disassembly processes.
  • Work Environment: Ensure a clean and organized workspace through adherence to 5-S/Housekeeping standards.
  • Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures, including strict compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience assembling aerospace components.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AME/A&P license or relevant aerospace experience preferred.
Skills:
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: Ability to interact professionally and productively with team members.
  • Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and hydraulic schemes.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills, with experience or exposure to lean manufacturing practices.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify non-conformances during assembly.
  • Hand and Machine Tools: Competence in using hand and machine tools.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Overtime: Willingness and ability to work overtime when required.
