Contingent Clinical Care LPN/LPN
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Olathe, KS. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Administer immunizations and injections, and provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, as well as take vital signs and perform diagnostic tests.
- Assess patients during intake and perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
