Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Administer immunizations and injections, and provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, assess patients during intake, and take vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKG and Retinopathy screening, and Point of Care testing.
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for patient care.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
  • Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
