Job Summary
The Rutgers University School of Nursing invites applications for the Part-Time position of Executive Director of the Center for Health Equity and Systems Research (CHESR). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive research agenda that addresses health equity and systems research. The Executive Director will also be responsible for securing extramural funding, building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring junior faculty members.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a research agenda that addresses health equity and systems research
- Secure extramural funding to support research initiatives
- Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior faculty members and provide guidance on research development
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement research projects
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field
- Sustained record of scholarly publications
- Experience in grant writing and securing extramural funding
- Experience in leading research initiatives and mentoring junior faculty members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in health equity and systems research
- Experience in working with diverse populations
- Experience in developing and implementing research agendas
