The Assistant General Manager - Team Lead will support the General Manager in promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction while creating a warm and welcoming environment for members. This role is an extension of the General Manager and will preside over the operation when the General Manager is not in the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Motivate, lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of team members who engage in servicing member needs at the membership counter.
- Policy and Procedure: Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club, and communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.
- Customer Service: Recognize and celebrate individual and team successes, and resolve member complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner following club procedure and documentation.
- Operations: Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security, and support a Culture of Cleanliness by reinforcing to staff that cleanliness is everyone's responsibility.
- Performance Management: Perform above average on all measurable KPI's, and exhibit an understanding of revenue budgets and payroll expenses.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
