Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Line Trim Technician to join our Purdy paintbrush manufacturing team in the line-finishing department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for side trimming assembled paintbrushes to ensure high-quality finishes. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to meeting our quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Use a scanner to scan on and off orders
- Input accurate data into the scanner
- Stamp the tip of the handle on each brush trimmed
- Comb both sides of each brush
- Trim both sides of each brush per Purdy's quality standards and expectations
- Inspect the quality of each trim
- Re-trim any brushes that are returned by the inspector
- Use the counter to keep track of brushes trimmed
- Constantly monitor quality of handles, brush heads, and finished brushes
- Remove defective brushes from the order
- Take repairable brushes to the rework person and seconds to the team manager for review
- Keep work area clean and conduct a final cleaning near the end of each shift
- Print labels for boxing
- Maintain accurate metrics: units trimmed, seconds, etc.

Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Preferably one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Experience with fine manipulation (such as sewing, cutting hair, or related activities)
- Experience in an environment where rotation from department to department is required
- At least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
