**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist teachers with classroom organization, management, and instructional strategies to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Work individually with assigned students to provide personalized support and ensure each student benefits from the assignment or task.
  • Monitor students' movement through cafeteria lines and assist the custodian with cleaning duties.
  • Prepare boards and wall materials for daily lesson plans, and assist teachers with grading tests and student assignments.
  • Make copies and print materials for classes, and assist administrators and other staff members with the transition of students from the classroom to the bus area.
  • Assist with training volunteers and provide support as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Current GA Paraprofessional Certificate, or High School Diploma or equivalent GED and passed GA paraprofessional assessment, or Associate's degree or completed 2 years of study at an institution of higher education.
  • Two (2) years of experience with children preferred.
