Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Estimate time and materials required for each task
  • Maintain facility HVAC control systems in accordance with state and local regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed
  • Perform daily rounds of building and related equipment to identify and address any issues
  • Respond to emergency situations throughout the facility
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • HVAC technical diploma/certificate or Orange County HVAC Journeyman License
  • Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the diploma/certificate or license
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Valid Florida driver's license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier's requirements and standards
  • Three (3) years' HVAC experience in commercial, industrial, or healthcare organizations
