About the Role:
The Milford School District NH is seeking a highly skilled Substitute School Nurse to join our team. As a Substitute School Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and families by providing health care services, developing and implementing school health programs, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing student health needs, providing medical interventions, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise in pediatric nursing will enable you to effectively communicate with students, parents, and educators to promote healthy behaviors and address any concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess student health needs and provide medical interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student health information
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to promote healthy behaviors and address concerns
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement school health programs
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
• Registered professional nurse (R.N.) license in the state of New Hampshire
• Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• 3 years of successful experience working with a pediatric population, preferably in a community or school setting
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science area, with coursework in growth and development, health assessment, public or school health, crisis intervention, and health education
• Master's degree in related field preferred

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
