Job Overview:

As a Substitute School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our students, while also contributing to the development of our school health programs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to address the diverse health needs of our students. Your expertise in pediatric nursing will enable you to provide effective medical interventions, maintain accurate records, and communicate with students, parents, and educators to promote healthy behaviors.

Responsibilities:
• Assess student health needs and provide medical interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student health information
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to promote healthy behaviors and address concerns
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement school health programs
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
• Registered professional nurse (R.N.) license in the state of New Hampshire
• Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• 3 years of successful experience working with a pediatric population, preferably in a community or school setting
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science area, with coursework in growth and development, health assessment, public or school health, crisis intervention, and health education
• Master's degree in related field preferred

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
