We are seeking a proficient Infrastructure Systems Administrator to oversee our Windows server and infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in Windows server management and comprehensive infrastructure oversight. This position is critical for maintaining our server environment and supporting various infrastructure elements to guarantee peak performance, security, and dependability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and sustain Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Conduct routine patching and updates to Windows servers to mitigate vulnerabilities and uphold security compliance.
  • Monitor server performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage backup and recovery solutions to protect data integrity.
  • Oversee enterprise storage systems management.
  • Administer Cisco UCS blade servers effectively.
  • Supervise Active Directory administration to ensure its efficiency.
  • Manage VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter and ESXi.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of SAN switch technology.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of server and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT personnel.
  • Offer weekend and after-hours support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Windows server administration and patch management.
  • Proficient in managing Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019).
  • Strong skills in VMware vSphere administration.
  • Solid understanding of SAN switch technology.
  • Experience in managing enterprise storage and backup solutions.
  • Experience with Cisco UCS blade servers.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows server roles and functionalities.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or VCP-DCV) are advantageous.
