Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative II to join our team at Congressional Federal. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to members by processing transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an outstanding service experience to members while handling routine and moderately complex transactions.
  • Receive and accurately process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Post transactions to member accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Cross-sell credit union services and refer members to the appropriate business partner for additional services, meeting or exceeding referral goals.
  • Accurately process member transactions throughout the business day and balance cash drawers at close of business, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
  • Maintain working knowledge of policies and procedures, providing excellent customer service, and facilitating problem resolution.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two to five years of similar or related experience is required.
  • A high school degree or equivalent, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, is necessary.
  • Ten-key calculator and computer keyboard skills by touch are essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to work with numbers and names, is crucial.
  • A significant level of trust, diplomacy, and courtesy is required.
  • Extensive personal contact with others, often dealing with sensitive information, is involved.
Total Rewards:

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $55,000-$65,000 based on industry standards and market conditions.
