**Job Summary**

The Hamilton County Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a Bus Attendant. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation on school buses.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist students with entering and exiting the bus in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Monitor passengers at all times to ensure adherence to safety regulations and student conduct rules.
  • Document and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authority.
  • Physically assist students in evacuating the bus in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure that students take their belongings with them when leaving the bus.
  • Assist the driver in maintaining a clean and presentable bus interior.
  • Complete all required paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
  • Present a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Attend all assigned training sessions.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with school-age students is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write effectively.
