About the Role

This is a dynamic and high-energy role in which you will bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers, building Samsara's business and bringing the benefits of sensor data to customers. Typical sales will be $20k to $100k, and involve Proof of Concepts (POCs), multiple stakeholders, managing trials, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers
  • Build Samsara's business and bring the benefits of sensor data to customers
  • Manage POCs, multiple stakeholders, and trials
  • Negotiate complex pricing deals
  • Sell to executives and CXOs
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than $10,000 in annual revenue
  • Located in either EST or CST time zones
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space - medium to large deal sizes
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling
  • Growth mindset and willingness to collaborate with teammates and in the selling process
  • SFDC familiarity
Compensation

Samsara's compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
