Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Consultant to join our team at Digital Insurance LLC. As a key member of our employee benefits team, you will be responsible for maintaining a book of fee/commissioned revenue business, managing client relationships, and providing strategic planning and cost/benefit analysis for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a book of fee/commissioned revenue business and manage client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide strategic planning and cost/benefit analysis for clients to help them make informed decisions about their employee benefits programs.
  • Work with producers to discuss client future insurance needs and maintain business contact with clients.
  • Attend and organize client meetings to discuss financial and services issues.
  • Manage monthly client reporting packages and develop annual client plans.
  • Conduct employee meetings for clients and develop relationships with insurance carriers to gain marketplace awareness and obtain competitive costs for clients.
  • Utilize Zywave and D365 to maintain client information and work flows.
  • Identify new trends and developments in the insurance marketplace and assist producers in pursuing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Assist in the training and development of various employee benefit related products and assist in the interface with new and current clients for service and related needs.
  • Assist the accounting department in collecting premiums, when necessary, and complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of benefit insurance coverage and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in D365 and Zywave or ability to learn these programs and knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or ability to learn this program.
  • Ability to manage client needs and multiple tasks, good organization skills, attention to accuracy and detail, and excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant disposition.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the employee benefit field, college graduate, and brokers license.
