Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Sonora Behavioral Health, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services. As an ECT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a private practice group and Sonora Behavioral Health Center to provide ECT services to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
  • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Board certification in psychiatry - do not need to have experience performing ECT services or consultations for ECT, we can train.
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
