Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

New Story LLC is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for promoting the development of communication skills in children through assessment, program planning, and direct service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and record and interpret data.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to promote communication skills.
  • Monitor and revise treatment plans as needed and communicate with team members.
  • Plan, implement, and adapt speech-language therapy activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the student's treatment team and family.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals individualized to the student.
  • Administer appropriate testing to gather data for the development and/or revision of the treatment plan.
  • Provide reports and make recommendations regarding future needs of students.
  • Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Must have knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents.
  • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must display a professional appearance and demeanor.
