Job Title: Professional Development Specialist RN

Swedish Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Specialist RN to join our team. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the educational needs of our nursing staff and develop targeted programs to address these needs.
  • Design and deliver educational activities that promote clinical competence and excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and educators to ensure that educational programs align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing education and incorporate evidence-based practices into educational programs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License.
  • 3 years of experience in nursing leadership, including clinical experience in an associated service line area.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Emphasis on education with current clinical competence in a service group.
  • Certification in nursing professional development (NPD-BC).
  • 3 years of experience in education theory and delivery of education using best practices.
