Professional Development Specialist RN

Swedish Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Specialist RN to join our team. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the clinical educational needs of staff and develop personalized professional growth plans.
- Plan and operationalize educational activities to meet the educational needs of staff, including individualized and group activities.
- Use multiple resources to assess the learning needs of staff and assist them in developing a personal professional growth plan.
- Deliver learning materials for specific educational activities using theory and practical considerations.
- Evaluate learning materials for inclusion and utilization for education needs both for individuals and groups.
- Provide coaching for the use of the internet and other modalities for obtaining knowledge and learning opportunities.
- Maintain own expertise in teaching/learning and clinical competency.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Upon hire: Registered Nurse License.
- 3 years of experience in nursing leadership including clinical experience in associated service line area.
