Program Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Serve as the primary interface between Team Improvix and government stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Program Oversight: Monitor and report on program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Resource Management: Manage contractor staff and resources, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring compliance with federal and customer policies.
  • Deliverables: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of work products and services, meeting customer expectations.
  • Communication: Facilitate regular meetings and feedback sessions with stakeholders, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve program processes, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Incident Response: Mobilize resources to respond to incidents, system outages, and crises, ensuring minimal disruption to program operations.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Ensure proper transition and knowledge transfer in the event of turnover and attrition, maintaining program continuity.

Requirements:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Program Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in program management, including resource allocation, risk management, and deliverable tracking.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
