U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Strategic Pricing Specialist to join its Merchant Processing Services (MPS) business line. This role will support the enterprise and partner sales teams in optimizing pricing and deal strategy within complex B2B negotiations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute optimal deal and pricing strategy through the pursuit of new business and renewal opportunities.
- Perform deal analysis and forecasting, pricing analysis, and provide discounting approvals.
- Create advanced ad-hoc analysis and development of forecasts/business cases in support of MPS business line.
- Develop strategic financial frameworks and evergreen processes for reviewing and optimizing portfolio health.
- Perform data analysis using advanced analytical techniques to develop insights and provide recommendations on price-optimization and other financial analyses.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional/enterprise projects in support of pricing, commercialization, compliance, and other value-creating efforts.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Payments or banking/financial-services/fin-tech industry experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically/analytically with a data-driven foundation.
- Intermediate comfort with SQL to self-source enterprise data.
- Expert use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, Office 365 suite of enterprise applications.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and digital (PowerPoint) communication skills.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution, and pension.
- A hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week.
