Clinical Documentation Specialist

In this critical role, you will be working alongside our experienced physicians to provide high-quality care to patients. As a Medical Scribe, your primary responsibility will be to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, we are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accompany physicians during consultations and examinations, observing and documenting patient interactions.
- Conduct thorough interviews with patients to gather relevant information for their medical records.
- Utilize medical terminology and documentation guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient test results, identifying any discrepancies or concerns.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain smooth workflow.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate's degree in health sciences or related field.
- Minimum one year experience in electronic medical records or clinical setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records software and other healthcare technologies.
- Bilingual (Spanish) required.
