As a seasoned accounting professional, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports, maintenance of the general ledger, and performance of account reconciliations.
  • Implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Conducting financial audits and preparation of audit reports.
  • Utilization of advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and present findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or 10+ years of experience in a related field. Insurance or banking industry experience is highly desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial accounting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the insurance industry and/or agency experience is highly desired for this role.
  • Proven experience in money mangement, business bank statement reconsiliation, cost accounting, and the implementation of internal controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements and conduct financial audits.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and insurance.
  • Proficiency in GAAP and advanced Excel skills.
