About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery operations, including inventory management, quality control, and customer service.
  • Be an Expert Baker: Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, while following recipe measurement instructions and adhering to food safety standards.
  • Be a Technological Innovator: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make informed business decisions.
  • Be a Performance Driver: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact bakery volume.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks and assisting in training, while developing, influencing, and inspiring them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style.
  • Comply with Company Policies: Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
What We Offer

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will enjoy a competitive hourly wage range of $20.00 to $27.00, with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Requirements
  • 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
