About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team as a Travel Mammography Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures according to exam protocol and in a timely manner.
  • Instruct and communicate with patients regarding the test to be performed and assess their ability to tolerate the exam.
  • Prepare patients or areas for mammography procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech (Certified Mammography Technologist).
  • Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth and professional development opportunities.
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
