Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Notify public health authorities of reportable diseases and assist in managing nursing staff.
- Support the Director of Nursing in day-to-day operations and attend committee meetings as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Certification in Gerontology Nursing is preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience as a floor nurse with at least one year of geriatric nursing experience.
- Management experience is a plus.
- CPR certification is required.
