Job Summary

First Solar is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Program Manager to oversee complex cross-functional programs within the Global Manufacturing arena. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in manufacturing environments and a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and on-budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and interfaces with various departments, including Technology, Product Management, HVM, High-Speed Rollout Team, Quality and Reliability, Supply Chain, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as required.
  • Manage program review meetings, track action items, and motivate program stakeholders.
  • Maintain software infrastructure to keep project plans and action items up to date.

Requirements
  • 0 - 2 years' experience in Program Management.
  • 1 year's experience in manufacturing environment providing New Product / Process (development through roll out to high volume manufacturing) Program Management, preferred.
  • BS degree in Engineering Discipline, required. MS Degree in Engineering Discipline, preferred. MBA will be considered but must have technology experience.
