Job Summary

The University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled Grants Manager B to provide technical and financial administration support to the Graduate School of Education faculty and research staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of pre-award and post-award technical and financial administration support to the Graduate School of Education faculty and research staff.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, budgets, and other required documents to sponsors.
  • Monitor and reconcile grant expenditures for compliance with sponsor regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to research investigators and faculty.
  • Collaborate with payroll and procurement groups to ensure accurate and timely charges to grant funds.
  • Initiate and complete grant closeout processes, including interim and final financial reporting.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to Principal Investigators and other personnel on proposal submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as sponsor regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in pre- and post-award research administration.
  • Strong grantsmanship, compliance, and administrative experience.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience with spreadsheets, Excel, and MS Office suite of products.
  • Experience enforcing compliance, funding policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience in university financial and research administration accounting systems.
