Location: Texas and Louisiana

Position Overview:

Verrus is in search of an experienced legal expert specializing in Environmental and/or Energy law to enhance our AM200 client's dynamic teams in Texas and Louisiana. The successful candidate will possess a transferable client portfolio valued at a minimum of $500,000 and a solid history of providing outstanding legal counsel. There are no specific niche practices required for consideration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized legal guidance and representation in the fields of Environmental and/or Energy law
  • Work collaboratively with team members to promote a supportive and collegial work environment
  • Play a key role in the development and success of the firm's practice areas
  • Guide and mentor junior attorneys and support staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and bar admission in Texas or Louisiana
  • Significant experience in Environmental and Energy law
  • A transferable client portfolio with a minimum value of $500,000
  • Strong leadership capabilities and client relationship management skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills
