Key Responsibilities
  • Material Inspection and Handling: Inspect all production cases for quality and shipping readiness, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and packaging.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate PIT equipment, including daily inspections and maintenance, to ensure compliance with OSHA specifications.
  • Quality Control: Perform final quality inspections of all products produced, verifying correct packaging, labeling, and sealing.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized staging area, adhering to specifications and ensuring efficient material flow.
  • Team Support: Provide relief to other Material Handlers during breaks and meal periods, promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Perform all necessary housekeeping functions and maintain a safe work area, reporting any hazards or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must follow safety guidelines, possess a team-oriented mindset, and be able to take direction from supervisors. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to operate a forklift safely are also required.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Constant standing and walking required, with occasional sitting.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for 90% of the shift.
