About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, including participating in leisure activities and socializing with peers.
  • Provide personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and changing clients' clothing.
  • Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
  • Transport clients in company vans, if necessary.
  • Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of professional or personal experience in caregiving, preferably supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 Required.
  • First Aid / CPR/ CPI certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a California Driver's License.
  • Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
