Position Overview:
Rose City Nursing and Rehab is currently in search of a Culinary Specialist to join our dedicated team within our skilled nursing facility.

Your role will involve assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in alignment with our established menus and portion control guidelines.


Available Shift:
Full Time Evenings
Starting Salary:
$15+/hr

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all served meals with attention to quality and presentation.
  • Plan food production to align with meal serving times.
  • Memorize and understand menu items, including abbreviations and portion sizes.
  • Follow standard recipes and accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Safely and efficiently operate standard kitchen equipment.
  • Comply with all sanitation and food production regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience in dining services within a healthcare setting.
  • Culinary School education is a plus.
