We are seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, including equipment and work surfaces, to maintain safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Verify the freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, tracking old and new items, and rotating stock to ensure optimal flavor and texture.
  • Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
  • Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook is preferred.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification is required (or must be willing to attain).
  • Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • The ability to lift 30+ pounds and work standing for 8+ hours is necessary.
