Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Cook to join our team, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes that delight our restaurant guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary food-handling environment by inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces.
  • Monitor the freshness of food and ingredients, rotating stock and checking for quality to maintain high standards.
  • Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures to ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
  • Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment, turning or stirring to ensure even cooking.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback, addressing concerns with urgency and courtesy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook is preferred, with ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or willingness to attain).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds and work standing for 8+ hours.
