The Philadelphia FIGHT is a leading Federally Qualified Health Center with four clinical sites, providing access to state-of-the-art, culturally competent primary care, advocacy, social services, consumer education, and outreach for all patients in need, regardless of HIV status or insurance status.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Practice Manager to support us at the Johnathan Lax Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, overseeing daily activities, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Clinic Operations: Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including personnel records management.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise staff members, complete annual competency reviews, and develop, implement, audit, and monitor staff performance goals.
- Coordinate Care: Collaborate with Medical Director and Nurse Manager to maximize clinician time and room space by monitoring weekly provider and resource schedules and developing strategies for reducing no-show rates.
- Implement Improvement Programs: Develop, implement, and monitor improvement programs, policies, and procedures, including Human Resources, workflow design, insurance requirements, billing, and cash collections.
- Patient Safety and Satisfaction: Ensure that clinical staff work within their scope of practice, patients receive safe care, and patient satisfaction is maintained.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with outside departments, resolving complaints and issues effectively, and overseeing inventory, ordering, and maintenance of required supplies.
You will also conduct regular staff meetings, prepare facilities for smooth operation, and collaborate with other clinical or medical support staff to ensure optimal functioning of the clinic.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of front desk procedures, insurance verification/eligibility, prior authorizations, and clinical processes in an ambulatory environment.
A competitive salary of $65,000-$80,000 per year is offered, commensurate with experience, along with minimal local travel requirements and 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
