POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Floor Associate plays a vital role in assisting Management in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations. This includes delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance:
  • Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection or helps locate items based on customer preferences.
  • Keeps abreast of current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual merchandising standards.
  • Adheres to standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and area maintenance.

Customer Engagement:
  • Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves concerns promptly.
  • Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, staying informed on policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolls clients in the rewards program.
  • Develops and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Remains knowledgeable about current product offerings and styles available in-store and online.
  • Maintains regular communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Support:
  • Aids in replenishment efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Assists with locating and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Supports visual merchandising tasks, including floor sets, window displays, and signage as directed.
  • Contributes to maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration:
  • Fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment for problem-solving.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal development and welcomes constructive feedback.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet operational needs. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular climbing as part of store operations.

The wage range for this position is $15.70 to $19.75, with compensation determined by individual qualifications. Store associates may be eligible for incentive compensation based on store performance and other relevant metrics.
