Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Field Support Specialist to join our team. This position requires the ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, for periods of 3-4 months at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, operate, repair, and run tests on various equipment in the field.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Analyze performance reports and documentation from customers to determine the nature and scope of problems.
  • Determine the source of issues and recommend corrective action, such as repair or replacement.
  • Provide phone and on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Analyze reports to identify trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes.
  • Recommend modifications to eliminate future problems and improve efficiency.
  • Act as a communication link between customers and the company to ensure effective service is provided.
  • Develop and conduct training on the safe operation of equipment, demonstrating skills to operators and maintenance staff.

Requirements

This position requires ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, for periods of 3-4 months at a time. Travel expenses will be covered by the company, and technicians can return home every weekend.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, including great benefits and bonus potential.
