The Pastry Assistant plays a crucial role in our kitchen, showcasing skills in baking and creativity while ensuring that our guests enjoy delightful desserts. This position requires a blend of technical baking abilities and excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

• Prepare and organize workstations for baking tasks.
• Skillfully bake and present a variety of desserts.
• Ensure a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Utilize kitchen equipment such as mixers, food processors, and ovens effectively.
• Assess the quality of ingredients prior to use.
• Employ various baking techniques to create high-quality pastry items.
• Manage food storage and ingredient inventory.
• Demonstrate effective time management to meet daily production goals.

• Proficient in measuring, mixing, and preparing baking ingredients.
• Familiarity with standard pastry items including cakes, chocolates, and ice creams.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry or baking roles.
• Ability to lift weights exceeding 50 lbs.
• Solid understanding of bakery terminology and techniques.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• ServSafe certification is advantageous.
