The Pastry Assistant plays a crucial role in our kitchen, bringing creativity and organization to the preparation of our dessert offerings. This position requires a skilled individual who is adept at following instructions and collaborating with the kitchen team to create delightful pastries that enhance our guests' dining experience.

• Prepare and maintain workstations for baking and dessert preparation.
• Utilize various kitchen equipment, including mixers and ovens, to produce high-quality baked goods.
• Ensure all ingredients meet quality standards before use.
• Employ various pastry techniques to create visually appealing desserts.
• Manage food storage and inventory, ensuring a well-stocked kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.
• Demonstrate effective time management to meet daily production goals.

• Proficient in measuring, mixing, and preparing baking ingredients.
• Familiarity with a range of pastry items, including cakes and chocolates.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pastry-focused role.
• Ability to lift heavy items, exceeding 50 lbs.
• Solid understanding of bakery terminology and techniques.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• ServSafe certification is advantageous.
