Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained while delivering exceptional service to all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously clean guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
  • Prepare for cleaning by organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
  • Restock the housekeeping cart in preparation for the following day.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager of any missing items from rooms.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing friendly, courteous, and service-oriented interactions with guests and team members.

Salary Range:
$26.65 per hour
