Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Primary Care team in Highland, NY. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and escort them to clinical areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Answer patient questions and provide education on day-of appointment, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Make telephone call-backs and provide telephone care as directed by physicians and RNs.
  • Provide patient counseling and education on various health topics, utilizing verbal and written materials.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workflow, adhering to HQMP policies and standards.
  • Ensure accurate patient vitals and perform vaccine administration and medication preparation as needed.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and perform vaccine administration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
Work Environment

This role is based in Highland, NY, and requires a 40-hour workweek with variable shifts Monday through Friday.
