Job Summary:

As a Lead Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Diagnostic Radiology Department. This includes assigning work responsibilities, ensuring staffing is adequate, and providing guidance and technical assistance to imaging staff. You will also be responsible for monitoring adherence to guidelines and regulations for record keeping and quality control, and interacting effectively with imaging and medical/clinical staff, patients, and other customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Serves in the lead capacity for the Diagnostic Radiology Department
Assigns work responsibilities and ensures staffing is adequate
Provides guidance and technical assistance to imaging staff
Monitors adherence to guidelines and regulations for record keeping and quality control
Interacts effectively with imaging and medical/clinical staff, patients, and other customers

Requirements:

Minimum of three years radiologic technologist experience
Five years of radiologic technologist experience preferred
Graduate of an ARRT approved program in radiologic technology
Strong leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and organize work flow, and strong problem-solving skills with self-motivation
ARRT (R) registered and current State of WI license as a Radiographer
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
