Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Device Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians. As a key member of our Electrophysiology department, you will be responsible for providing technical and clinical services in the ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) interrogations and arrhythmia interpretation of ECG and measured data.
  • Manage patient diagnostics in manufacturer remote monitoring websites and analyze transmission data.
  • Enter data in the electronic medical record (EMR) and maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with EP Providers to direct patient care and support CIED management.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion from an approved cardiac device technical school or 2 years of experience in cardiac pacing or electrophysiology.
  • One year of EP clinical experience as a Cardiac Device Specialist.
  • Strong preference for Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) certification through Heart Rhythm Society within 24 months of hire.
