About the IPEX New Graduate Development Program

The IPEX New Graduate Development Program (NGDP) is a 36-month rotational program designed for recent post-secondary institution undergraduates. This program provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain cross-functional expertise and support our culture of promoting from within.

Program Overview

The NGDP is a 36-month rotational program that involves a series of placements and work within different areas of the organization over the course of three 12-month rotations. Participants will be introduced to a variety of departments, including Operations, Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with internal and external partners to deliver project deliverables
  • Plan and prioritize activities for assigned projects through each department placement
  • Challenging the status quo and identify alternative ways of work where opportunities exist for improvement
  • Be involved with day-to-day operations and meetings to learn the operations specific to departments during every rotation
  • Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of the project plan outlined for each rotation working closely with project manager
  • Conduct research on the latest trends-best practices, analyze data, and make/implement recommendations through business proposals
Requirements
  • Recently graduated in the past two years from post-secondary institutions
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams
  • Previous co-op experience working in a manufacturing/engineering/supply chain/corporate environment with exposure to working in a cross-functional team is required
  • Experience with software's-AutoCAD, SolidWorks is an asset
  • Strong social skills, critical thinking skills, effective communication and presentation skills, and time management skills are required
