Position OverviewThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaborates closely with medical professionals to evaluate the healthcare needs of patients within a clinical environment.Responsibilities include:
  • Ordering, interpreting, and documenting clinical test results.
  • Prescribing medications and recommending various therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to address a diverse range of medical conditions.
Key FunctionsThe APP is expected to demonstrate creativity and independence in managing patient care, serving as a consultant, educator, and resource for both patients and healthcare teams. This role emphasizes advanced clinical practice, underpinned by expertise in research, leadership, and professional development.Collaboration is essential, as the APP will work to enhance partnerships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes throughout the care continuum.Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited advanced nursing program or a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physician assistant program.
  • Preferred: One year of clinical experience.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the relevant state.
