About the Role

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at our Salina community. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in connecting with and positively impacting the lives of our residents daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sales Team in reaching budgeted occupancy goals by coordinating the move-in process for new residents and moves/transfers within the community.
  • Champion the move-in process and assist with new resident assessments.
  • Attend and participate in all required trainings, team meetings, town hall meetings, online learning resources, and others as required.
  • Provide tours to prospects as needed.
  • Program pendants and activate key cards as needed.
  • Maintain all marketing packets, collateral, and brochures as needed.
  • Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective way.
  • Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
  • Follow up daily with new move-ins during the first week of residency to assist with orientation and troubleshooting issues/concerns.
  • Assist with the execution of lead-generating events as determined by the Marketing team and Director of Sales.
  • Coordinate the logistics, paperwork, and apartment readiness for all move-ins at the time of deposit through move-in.
  • Ensure effective communication is being utilized by community staff with the residents' families concerning residents' care, encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative with the capability to engage in conflict intervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and others as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent related experience preferred.
  • Experience in sales preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox), Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any HR-related systems if applicable.
