Position Overview:


The individual will be tasked with the upkeep of all machinery within the designated area.

Primary Objective:

Technicians are expected to ensure the functionality of all equipment in a secure and efficient manner.

Key Qualifications

  • Timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct daily inspections.
  • Safely maintain all machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guarantee that all equipment operates effectively and efficiently.
  • (In the absence of key personnel, a trained employee will assume the role)

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is essential.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for machinery are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC and fabrication techniques is advantageous.
  • Must meet all criteria for Level 1.
  • Electronic training or relevant experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is required. Strong mathematical skills are essential. Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with a commitment to lead by example and adhere to instructions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Physical Requirements:
The employee will frequently stand and may need to bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl to complete tasks. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.

Work Environment:
While performing job duties, the employee may encounter extreme temperature conditions. Work locations may consistently be at or below 40 degrees. Noise levels can range from moderate to loud, necessitating hearing protection.

Food Safety Compliance: All employees at Crider Foods must comply with food safety standards and report any food safety issues to management. It is imperative that all written and digital records are documented promptly, are legible, clear, concise, and properly authorized by those conducting monitoring tasks. This position does not entail the inspection and verification of records.
