Job Overview

Riggs Industries is seeking skilled truck body assembly technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing vehicle chassis for body installation, performing necessary modifications, and integrating various systems including electrical and hydraulic components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and ensure driveshaft clearance
  • Manage the proper routing of pneumatic lines
  • Utilize basic mathematical skills for shop tasks
  • Modify and prepare chassis according to specifications
  • Install electrical wiring and components
  • Integrate pneumatic systems and controls
  • Set up hydraulic systems and components
  • Install plow lifts and hoisting mechanisms
  • Install lift axles as required
  • Fit body hoists and hydraulic cylinders
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with all standards of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent, along with vocational training or relevant experience in an industrial environment, is preferred.
